Trade
Trade agreements will deliver new jobs and expansion over some businesses, especially in the Australian resource, pharmaceutical and food processing sectors.
Australian businesses have new opportunities to boost exports and break into key Asian markets. Currently we export to Asia the following; Fuels, Minerals, Processed Agriculture, Mineral manufacture and Unprocessed agriculture (crops)
Australia also imports products from Asia, such as; Engineering products, Fuels, Minerals, Vehicles and Processed agriculture.

How does this affect the lives of Australians
As the export and import market is so big, the only real impact on Australians is a positive one. This creates more jobs for the Australian people and helps with the unemployment rate.
What are the advantages of these global connections
Asia is a huge export country with very few natural resources. Global trade plays a large part in our global connections, with Australia's international trade being an important part of our country's economy and its wealth.
It will also mean that manufactured goods from Japan and Korea will be cheaper, including electrical appliances, electronics and motor vehicles, making some of the goods more affordable.
